2017

It all began here, back in 2017 with the first three attempts to weave over bones.

These works marked a turning point, the ‘new beginnings’ of what would grow into - weaving as language.

Sketches Series, 2017

Sketches are a series of maquette’s testing how weaving and embroidery techniques could be applied to three-dimensional forms. These early experiments became the foundation of an ongoing practice dedicated to weaving over form.
